William J. "Bill" Guay, 82, of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was the beloved husband of Pauline (Hamel) Wrigley-Guay, with whom he shared thirty-eight wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Lawrence, Bill was the son of the late Oscar and Yvonne (Dick) Guay. He was educated in Methuen and attended Mount Carmel Catholic School. Bill dedicated over thirty years of service and retired as an Associate Microbiologist at Procter & Gamble, where his commitment and expertise were deeply valued.
A man of many passions, Bill was an avid hiker who found joy in the beauty of nature. He was a generous supporter of numerous charitable organizations and was known for his kind heart and unwavering compassion. He had a deep love for western movies and the music of the Kingston Trio, which brought him great comfort and joy throughout his life.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Richard Guay, Jeannette Binette, Patricia Lister, and his nephew Richard Broscoe.
He is survived by his cherished children, Michelle Guay of Sanford, ME, and Lisa Guay of
Methuen, MA; his stepdaughters, Karen Broscoe and her husband Jim of Methuen, Donna DiGrazia and her husband Al of Methuen, and Rhonda Powers of Nashua, NH. Bill also leaves behind his siblings Albert Guay and his wife Lucille of Hernando Florida, and Charles Guay of Portsmouth New Hampshire.
He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Nichole, Laura, and Anthony; great-grandchildren Colton and Jaxson, step-grandchildren John, Marc, Nicholas, Ashley, Shannon, Allison, and Courtney; and step great-grandchildren Bee, Anthony, Rocco, Madilyn and Jordan. Bill is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bill will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but the memories and love he shared will live on with each and every one of them.

Methuen, MA. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
