Charles H. Borrelli, 61, of
Methuen, MA, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 20, 2026, He was the son of the late Dr. Raphael and Jean (Griffith) Borrelli.
A proud graduate of Central Catholic High School, he was a born competitor and natural leader. A three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball, he captained every team he played on - and he made sure everyone knew it. Whether you were lucky enough to be on his team or lined up across from him, you knew one thing for certain: he gave everything he had. That same competitive fire and love of the game stayed with him long after high school. He found peace and freedom riding his motorcycle and during the summers he loved spending his days fishing, golfing or spending time with family at the beach.
His career as a Master Electrician, a title he earned with pride and wore with honor. He believed in hard work, integrity, and doing things the right way. His dedication to his craft reflected the discipline and drive he carried throughout his life.
Born into a lively family of nine, he cherished his role as a brother. He shared an unbreakable bond with Rafe, Paul, Kathy, Barbara, Mark, David, Steven, and Gina. The stories, laughter, loyalty, and love between them were lifelong treasures he held close to his heart.
But above all, his greatest pride and joy were his three daughters - his self-proclaimed "Charlie's Angels" - Jessica, Gianna, and Shawna. To him, they were everything. He loved fiercely, protected endlessly, and bragged about them any chance he got. Being their father was the role he treasured most. He was also proud to welcome the men who stood beside them, Sam Kalil and Nicholas Conway embracing them as part of the family.
And then came his greatest blessing - his seven grandchildren: Tagen, Aubrey, Maelyn, Delaney, Daxton, Brody, and Rhett. They quickly became the center of his world. Nothing lit up his face more than being "Grumpy(grampy)." He adored them beyond measure and poured into them the same strength, humor, competitiveness, and unconditional love that defined his life.
He will be remembered for his booming stories, his unwavering loyalty, his competitive fire, his strong hands, and his even stronger heart. His laughter filled a room and his love filled a lifetime.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing his legacy lives on in the family he built, the friends he stood beside, and the countless lives he impacted simply by being himself. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
