William Hanlin Obituary
67, passed away peacefully at his home in Voorhees, NJ, on October 31, 2025. Born and raised in Atlantic City, NJ, Bill was the beloved son of Bernard and Regina Hanlin. Bill was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His infectious smile, warm heart, and genuine kindness touched everyone he met. He was a proud graduate of Our Lady Star of the Sea School and Holy Spirit High School, Class of 1976. Bill dedicated many years of service to the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier and later as a devoted union representative for Local 370, where he was known for his integrity and commitment to his coworkers. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Ellen (Silverman) Hanlin; his cherished daughters, Jenifer Calvo (Andrew) and Megan Ninkovic (Nenad); and his adored grandchildren, Mina, Luka, and Wyatt, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his six siblings, Kathleen Hanlin, Bernard (Donna), Charles, Patricia Hanlin Tooker, Helen Vanderwerken (Todd), and Joseph (Judith).
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., with a service beginning at 3 p.m. at George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, NJ 08221. In place of flowers, please consider a donation in Bill's memory to the Parkinson's Association or a charity that is meaningful to you. Condolences may be extended to the family at ghwimberg.com.

I was so sorry to hear of Billy´s passing. Some of my fondest memories of growing up at Chelsea were of him, his brothers and sisters. Please know that I have him and his family in my thoughts and prayers. He was a great guy!
