William was born on June 19, 1953 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of the late William James Hannan Jr. and Flora (Thompson) Hannan.
William served proudly in the United States Army receiving National Defense Service Medal and Marksman M-16. He retired from Timet in Toronto, OH as an Electrician. Many will remember William for his love of fishing and working and collecting Old Clocks.
William is survived by his wife, Cathy (Sarver) Hannan, four children, Brian Hannan, Nathan McKee, Donald McKee and his spouse, Chris King, Sarah McKee, five grandchildren, Desirae Gorrell and Abigail Bone and her husband, Trevor, and Nathan C. Logan and Zoey McKee and three siblings, Christine Lauck and her husband, John, Trish Sarver and her husband, Leroy, and Elaine Burt and her husband, Bill and numerous nieces and nephews.
The James Funeral Home of Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 is honored and privileged to serve the Hannan Family with a private Veteran's Cremation.
