William H. Hansen, Sr., age 61, passed away on January 4, 2025. He was born on September 29, 1964, in Berea, Ohio, to his loving parents, the late James Hansen and Patricia Tracy.
William was a devoted father to Patty Hansen, William Hansen, Jr., and Bentley Hansen. He was a dear brother to Stacie Hansen, Matthew Hansen, and Lukas Evans, and a treasured uncle to Tasha Thompson, Amanda “Bean” Thompson, Brittney Hansen, Matthew Hansen, Jr., Jerrid Hansen, Leaila Hansen Liam Clark, and great uncle to Olivia Thompson, and many more.
William had a lifelong passion for riding and building motorcycles and restoring old cars, hobbies that brought him great joy and reflected his hands-on spirit.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests houseplants instead, for lasting memories.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will then resume from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors, 13115 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44111.
