William "Billy" Earl Harris, Jr., 54, passed away on December 11, 2025. William was born in Petersburg, Virginia. He was predeceased in death by William Earl Harris, IV.
Left to cherish his memory is his Father, William Earl Harris, Sr. (Betty); Mother, Mary Gibson Harper (Danny); Son, Eric Yarboro (Katie); Daughter, MaryLou Faucett; Son, William Earl Harris, III (Chelsey); Daughter, Tammie Wood (Steve); Son, Ashjin Gibson; Sister, Christina Johnson (Gary); Brother, Enoch Harris (Julie); Amanda Wilson (Dalton); Brother, Daniel Harper ; sister, Lisa Vaughn (Chris); Jennifer Noerenberg( Dale); Melanie Chambers ( Bob); Brother, Aaron Terry ; sister Rachel Contreras
Billy had a passion for woodworking and took great pride in his remodeling business. He had a fondness for music and was a devout Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a man of faith, saved by the grace of Christ Jesus, which clearly guided his life and compassion for others. Above all else, Billy was known for his deep and unwavering love for his grandchildren, who were the joy of his life: Ava, AJ, Gio, Easton, Taliah, Jaden, Elyanna, Dominic, Elijah, Mayka, Jack, Elianna, Hailey, Billie, William, Emily, Amelia, Robbie, and Lukas.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Peoples Baptist Church, 1200 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, with Pastor Chuck Pearson officiating. Burial will follow will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Boulevard, Chesapeake Virginia 23321.
