William Lloyd Harrison, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on August 29, 2024. Will was born in Winston-Salem on August 8, 1984, to John and Margaret Harrison. He received his undergraduate and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill.
Will was a gentle and kind man who was loved by all who knew him. He delighted in family, friends, the outdoors, music, cats, Carolina, and the Phillies. But the best is now his life with Jesus.
Will is survived by his father, John S. Harrison (and Sallie) of Lewisville, NC; his mother, Margaret H. Harrison (and Phil) of Clemmons, NC; his brother, Benjamin Moser (and Stephanie) and nephew, Jack of Columbus, GA; his brother, Robert Moser (and Mauri) and nephews, Jaedon, Gabe, Naomi, Kymani, and Jeremiah of Wilmington, NC; several uncles, aunts, and cousins; and wife of eleven years, Rachel.
A memorial will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, with a celebration of life reception to immediately follow in the Robert F. Miller Center at Hayworth-Miller. A private family burial will take place prior to the service at Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Will’s memory to made to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation (bbrfoundation.org/donate), the Migraine Research Foundation, or any organization that helps those struggling with neurological problems including anxiety, migraine, and severe depression.
Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the Harrison Family.
