William "Bill" Hatcher, age 78, passed away May 7, 2024. He was born February 25, 1946 to Bernard and Darlene (Etherington) Hatcher in Council Bluffs, IA. Bill graduated from Treynor High School and farmed for a few years with his father outside of Treynor. He later worked at United A.G for 27 years and retired at US Foods in 2016.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Hatcher and daughter, Billie Jo Gubbels; brothers, Phil Hatcher, Clint Hatcher, and Fred Hatcher.
Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marjorie Hatcher; son, Tim Hatcher; brothers, Thomas (Brenda) Hatcher and Jerry (Aileen) Hatcher; grandchildren, Ben (Hope) Gubbels, Xander Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Charlotte Gubbels, and Isla Jo Gubbels; and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. The family will direct memorials.
