William (Bill) Heising, 69, was preceded in death by parents Margaret (Hummel) Heising and Paul Heising, Sr. He attended St. Sebastian, Archbishop Hoban and Akron University. Bill used his exceptional talents to design and execute imaginative and stunning interiors for family, friends and clients. He also excelled in managerial positions and shared his passion for gardening and food in his "retirement" jobs. Bill cherished both family and friends in Ohio, California and favorite travel destination, Italy. One of Bill's many gifts was to make a person feel welcome and special. His sharp wit and generous spirit will always reside in our hearts.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara (Karl) Wilhelm, Kate Wilhelm and Bernie Wilhelm; brothers, Paul (Dawna) Heising, Marissa (Sammy), Halo, Dr. Misty Richards (Dr. Timothy Cushing); John (Linda) Heising, Elizabeth (Bryan) Skursha, John Paul (Carissa) Heising and eight great nieces and nephews, many cousins and close friends. Thank you to the many caregivers who helped Bill through his last months.
Friends may call on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Rd. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 8, at 11 am at St. Sebastian Church. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In Bill's memory you may donate to Good Samaritan Hunger Center, a charity of your choice, or order a memorial tree.
