He was a member of Broadway Temple AME Church.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Shontee; children, Teryle Shontee, Vicki Shontee and Belinda Shontee; grandchildren, Desiree Watkins, Desmond Shontee and Destiny Carter; great-grandchildren, Laffielle Irvin, Jr., Demii Shontee, Dream Shontee, Dakota Shontee and Desmond Shontee Jr.; brother, Raymond Shontee (Bobbie), a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation: 2pm-3pm Friday, April 18, 2025 at Historic Calvary Baptist Church, 1368 So. 28th St., memorial service to follow at 3pm.
