William Henry Van Cleave Obituary

Mr. Van Cleave is the beloved husband of 54 years to the late Catherine (nee: Butler) Van Cleave. Loving father of Karen (Mike) Mosser, Cheryl Sikorski, Theresa Van Cleave, Joyce Van Cleave and Patricia (Keith Johnson) Jensen. Step father of Juanita (Jim) Hickman, Beverly Jo (Steven) Pierce, Sue Dale and the late Gary (Judy) Butler. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his 4 brothers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
William loved airplanes proudly served in the Navy as a Naval Aviation Mechanic. He loved flying, building models and attending airshows. More than anything he loved his family. A well-known talker, no one he met was a stranger. H was loved by everyone who knew him.
Funeral from Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 340 Pontiac Trail Walled Lake (3 Blks. S. of Maple Rd.) Friday 12 Noon. Friends may visit Friday 10 AM until time of service. Memorials to the Michigan Humane Society appreciated.
