William Hinkemeyer Obituary
William E. "Bill" Hinkemeyer, age 66, of Dassel passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.
He was born on August 23, 1956 in St. Cloud the son of Alfred "Al" & Elizabeth "Betty" (Dingmann) Hinkemeyer.
Bill graduated from Buffalo High School in 1974.
He owned and operated an Auto Body Repair Shop in Rockford and in Cokato for many years.
He loved going to the Lake. Bill also enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, muscle cars, family and friends.
Survived by two children: Jason Hinkemeyer of Delano and Christina "Tina" (Tracy) Vetruba of Montrose; grandchildren: Nicolle and Samantha; Jadin and Hailey; siblings: Bonnie (Scott) Devitt, Barbara McIntosh, Michael (Tracy) Hinkemeyer, Michele Hinkemeyer and Stacy Hinkemeyer and Patricia Hinkemeyer; other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by grandchildren Jacob Vetruba, Becca and Abby Hinkemeyer, his parents, aunts and uncles.
A Memorial Service for William "Bill" Hinkemeyer will be held on Thursday, May 18th at 6:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18th two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
