William Horch Obituary

William graduated from Jonathan Alder Schools and was an active member of the Cornerstone Christ Church of Christian Union in Plain City. His faith and dedication to his church community were profound and heartfelt.
A loving husband to Gayle (Whitt) Horch for 62 years and a devoted father to Todd and Amy, William's family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his wife, children, sister Mary Clapham, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Chloe Horch; his brother Tom and Tom's wife Sandy; and his brother-in-law Harold Clapham.
William's passion for the Ohio State Buckeyes was unmatched, celebrating every football and basketball game with enthusiasm. Additionally, he was an avid antique collector; a hobby that spanned over 50 years, showcasing his appreciation for history and craftsmanship. William's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him, as a steadfast protector, a loving family man, and a devout community member.
A visitation will take place on Thursday August 8th, 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM at Ferguson Funeral Home 202 East Main Street Plain City, Ohio 43064 with a funeral service to follow at Noon. Interment to follow at Jerome Township Cemetery.
