William Isbell

Isbell, William Glen, 67, of St Louis, MO passed peacefully on Thursday, September 1st. Bill is survived by his sister, Renee Isbell Althauser, his two children, Stacey Dunn and William Isbell and many others who loved him including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents (Charlie & Harty Isbell) and sister (Sheree Isbell Mathews Lawless).
He sure was one of a kind! He had a big heart, big personality and wonderful sense of humor. Most certainly everyone has a great story to tell about their adventures with Bill.
He was also a survivor. He dealt with many challenges throughout his life but always managed to pull through. In his most recent battle with cancer, we were all amazed by his positive attitude, tough guy approach and determination to do what he needed to get well. Unfortunately, all his efforts just weren't enough to beat this disease.
He will be greatly missed; this world will not be the same without him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Helen Fitzgerald's on Saturday, September 10th at 3:30pm. Please join us in memory of Bill and bring some of those great stories to share.
