William (Bill/Billy/BJ) Taylor Jackson, 73, of Ladson, SC, formerly of VA. Beach, VA, went home to be with the Lord on October 3rd, 2025.
Born July 29th, 1952, Bill lived a vibrant life filled with love and laughter. He never met strangers; everyone he met was a friend he hadn't been introduced to yet.
Bill used his degree in Mechanical Engineering throughout his career in the HVAC field, where he fulfilled his dream of starting his own business, Jackson Mechanical Inc., where he was beloved by all his customers because of his excellent, high-quality work and infectious personality. Even after he retired in 2014, everyone knew they could call him for help and he would show up willing to lend a helping hand, with an off-the-cuff story, and jokes that would leave them in stitches.
Beyond his professional life, Bill's love for his family was unparalleled. He loved being with his family, but he really loved doing anything and everything with his wife, Susan "Lynn," whom he loved beyond measure. His favorite hobby was to make others laugh.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Leon Jackson; his mother, Annie Laurie Jackson; and his brothers, Raymond Jackson and Leon Jackson Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelley Seaman; his son, Samuel Jones; his grandson, Richard Alexander (Alex) Seaman, and his brother, Robert (Bobby) Jackson.
Bill's life was a testament to laughter, kindness, and love. He leaves a legacy of faith, family, and many treasured memories.
