William Jones Obituary

On Saturday, August 17, 2024, William Samuel Jones, a doting Father, passed away at the age of 24.
William was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Jones and JR Williams; grandmother, Linda Grubaugh; and uncle, Mike McAlpine. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Beverly and Mitchell Dadow; father and step-mother, Joseph and Michele Jones; siblings, Katie, Jorden, and Joseph Jones, Johnathan Hall, Tarrell Grant, Casey and Caitlin Bannister; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Most importantly he is survived by his beautiful baby girl, Octavia.
William was a bright and adventurous soul. There wasn't a person he met that wasn't affected by his special personality. He will be dearly missed by so many people, more than he could have ever imagined. This world is so much less without him in it. Next to his family and friends, there was not much that William loved as much as he loved riding, and if he wasn't doing that he was probably on the water fishing or kayaking.
Family and friends are asked to join together for a celebration of his wonderful life on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Polish National Alliance, 15 Clair Street, Battle Creek MI 49014.
Arrangements entrusted to the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 269-788-9800. www.baxterfuneral.com.

I always admired William. He was a hard worker. I was impressed that he was working for himself at such a young age. He took care to make sure things were just right and he took pride in his work. I saw great potential in him. Construction is not an easy trade, there are pitfalls and he took those in stride. I often thought he was going to be one of the big contractors of the area. His passing came as a great shock to my wife and I. Our condolences to his family and friends. May his next adventure bring him joy and happiness.

This still doesn´t feel real... You are so missed and loved William! Cj and I were laughing the other day about how Ryden and Kyler were wrestling with you in line at the Red wings game the entire time and you didn´t care one bit. You played right along, just like you always did to see them smile/laugh/have fun. You were the best Uncle to my kids so thank you for that. You were so full of life and always the first to reach out if I needed help around the house. I will never forget you climbing into my attic and jumping down covered in insulation LOL! My promise to you is to always keep your memory alive for your daughter because she really does have the best Dad. Love you William
