William (Bill) LeRoy Kingsland, age 85, went home to the Lord Jesus Christ on March 31, 2025. William was born on July 10, 1939, in Jerome, Idaho to Alfred and Lillie Kingsland.
Bill moved to California in 1956, where he met and married the love of his life Mary Jane Lembke. Together, they raised their two children, Connie and William.
Bill worked for many years in the alarm industry from 1956-1960 for LaFrance Fire Alarm Co., from 1960-1969 at King’s Burglar Alarm Co., from 1969-1973 at American protection Industries, and from 1973-1988 at Day and Night Alarm Co.
Bill met his best friend and future brother in-law Carl Risbeck, together they rode many miles on dirt bikes in the southern California deserts.
In 1988, Bill moved back to his hometown where he would enjoy working outside, caring for his property, riding dirt bikes with his son, camping and fishing with his family, and traveling and sightseeing with his sister, Lois.
William had three grandchildren he loved and adored. Samantha, whom he adopted and raised, Jason, and Grace. He was “Papa Bill” to his three great grandchildren, Addie, Lyric and Jason Jr.
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews, family and loved ones.
William was preceded in death by his wife Mary J. Kingsland; parents, Alfred P. and Lillie P. Kingsland; children, William L. Kingsland Jr., Connie L. Kingsland; and his sisters, Minnie P. Risbeck (Carl), and Velma M. Parker (Lloyd).
William is survived by his brother, Al Kingsland; sister, Lois Winder; grandchildren, Samantha (Jacob) Becker, Jason Soulier, Grace Kingsland; and great-grandchildren, Addalynn Becker, Lyric Soulier, and Jason Soulier.

Celebration of Life and Graveside Service for family will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Jerome Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Jerome, Idaho 83338.
