To Durema and the Koger family,
My family and Annie want you to know how much we think of Bill and how much we will miss his smile, that chuckle we always heard, especially when Ernie was reminiscing and telling stories. Both Durema and Bill always opened their home and welcomed us back to meet there whenever my brother was able to make the trip to Charlotte. Their home feels like a second home and since we were former neighbors, we have such strong memories there. We were to so sorry to hear about Bill´s sudden passing and the sadness your family is experiencing. As I prayed for you all, I also had to give thanks to God for Bill...for a life blessed in many ways and for a great family and friends and for protecting Bill, and Durema and then for his peaceful passing. I´m thankful that Bill lived such a fulfilling life and it is clear to my family and me that a lot of that happened because of Durema. Durema I hope as time goes on, you can feel the peace and comfort of knowing you are such an important part of your family and community and we appreciate you and all you have done and continue to do for others.

My wife Sandy and I both had the pleasure of working with Mr. Koger during our tenure as Probation Officers. He was not only our supervisor but also our friend. We were fortunate to have known him on both levels. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
