William J. "Bill" Kohlhagen, age 88, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Facility on March 20, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Sheboygan Falls on May 29, 1935, son of the late John and Esther (Hubbard) Kohlhagen. Bill attended Sheboygan Falls schools, graduating high school in 1954 and served in the United States Army.
He worked in the enamel department at Kohler Company for many years until his retirement, and was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.
On September 15, 1962, he married Mary Morse at St. Michael's in the Town of Mitchell.
Bill enjoyed bowling, being a part of various leagues over the years. He also enjoyed watching many sports and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: His loving wife, Mary; Children: Steve (Cheryl) Kohlhagen of Lodi, Dan Kohlhagen of Kewaskum, and Sue (Mark) Schueler of Howards Grove; Grandchildren: Melissa, Stephanie, Laura, and Jeffrey (Brooke) Kohlhagen, and Megan and Katie Schueler; Great-grandchild, Jaxon; Brother, Jim Kohlhagen of Sheboygan Falls; As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by: His parents; Parents-in-law; Brother, John; Sister, Joyce; Brother-in-law, Thomas Morse; and Sister-in-law, Ann Abston.
Private family services will be held and inurnment will be in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
The family would like to send special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and the entire staff at Sharon Richardson, for the wonderful care and compassion given to Bill.
