William Kohlmann Obituary

Born on February 21, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late William Sr. and Doris (Brown) Kohlmann. He was a US Marine Corp veteran. He was a retired tug boat captain.
Bill enjoyed playing pool and participated in several pool leagues. An avid fisherman, he was a member of the Ridgewood Hookers Fishing Club. On many Saturday nights, he could be found with Margie and friends playing cards. A New York Mets and Jets fan, he enjoy watching games with his friends at The White Owl.
Also surviving is his son, Michael Kohlman of Virginia Beach, VA; his daughters, Kristina Brannen and husband Jason of White Mills, Joyce Wise of Ashland, OH and Susan Constable of Winterville, NC; several grandchildren; nieces Brenda Pierro and husband John and Kelly Hinrichs; his nephew, Sean Flaherty. He will also be missed by his K-9 companion, Brandi.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Flaherty.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 1st at St. Francis Xavier Church, Narrowsburg, NY at 10 am. Friends may visit Hessling Murray Funeral Home, 428 Main St. Honesdale on Wednesday, 4 to 7.

William, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.
