Passed away unexpectedly and peacefully surrounded by his loving family. William found immense joy in spending time with his 4 daughters and watching his 9 grandchildren participate in all of their activities and sports. He loved to share stories of his childhood, going to Comiskey Park to see his White Sox. He loved to share his passion for food, cooking, fishing and golfing. He would never pass up the opportunity to go to the casino with his wife. Bill's vibrant personality always brightened up any room he entered. He had the remarkable ability to connect with people, effortlessly striking up conversations with anyone. Most of all, his greatest love was his family, and he will be truly missed.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Nancy (nee Alberts); parents, Raymond and Charlotte Kostecki.
Survived by his loving daughters, Kristen (Mike) Timm, Katie (Eric) Taraska, Kim (Chris) Burd and Kandace (Jeff) Caswick; grandchildren, Michael Timm, Lyla, Mila and Sam Taraska, Lexie, Mason and Preslie Burd, Harper and Clayton Caswick.
Bill's strength, courage and determination over the last 15 months was an inspiration to his family.
