William J. "Bill" Kosuth, age 73, a resident of Aurora, IL, formerly of Gladstone, MO and Naperville, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at his home after a long illness. He was born on March 13, 1952, in Chicago, IL.
Beloved husband of Pamela Kosuth (nee Alexander), whom he married on March 31, 1990, loving father of Victoria (Jarvis) Mott of DeKalb, IL and Brianna (Luis) Martinez of Chicago, devoted son of the late Edward and Emilie Kosuth, son-in-law of the late George and Katherine Alexander, dear brother of Paul (Beth) Kosuth, Robert (Po-Lin) Kosuth and the late Michael (the late Theresa) Kosuth, brother-in-law of Dean Alexander and John (LeAnn) Alexander, fond cousin, uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many.
Bill grew up on Chicago's Northwest Side and was a graduate of Holy Cross High School in River Grove, IL. He attended Wright Junior College, and later, Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, where he received his BA in Education and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Bill was employed for many years at Arise in Franklin Park, IL where he worked with autistic adults and children. He also was employed at Borders Bookstore and Target, where he retired after 17 years.
Bill was a longtime member of The Chicago Church of Christ. He enjoyed reading, hiking, biking, photography and loved history.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville, IL 60540.
A celebration of Bill's life will take place on Saturday, April 5, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Curt Simmons, Evangelist, officiating.
Future inurnment: Naperville Cemetery, Naperville.
