William Lanier was born June 29, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee to the parents Hurley Lanier and Betty Jean Moore. This fruitful life came to an end on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at McKendree Village in Hermitage, Tennessee.
William was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public Schools. He lived in Nashville all his life.
William had a great sense of humor his laugh was infectious. He was a funny guy who could make you smile on your toughest days. His funny stories and jokes will be missed by his family. William was a great father. He was supportive and his memory will live on in our hearts forever.
Preceded in death by father, Hurley Lanier.
Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Canesha Lanier and Marion Jeanette Faulkner, 9 grandchildren, mother, Betty Jean Moore, siblings, Earlene Lanier, Donna Raybourn Bond, Deborah Moore and Juan Moore.
