William Walter Law Jr.

With profound sadness, we celebrate the life of a deeply loved and cherished individual, William Walter Law, Jr., affectionately known by friends and family as Bill. A native son of Philadelphia, born on April 10, 1947, William exemplified generosity and thoughtfulness in all walks of life. His journey on this earth may have ended on December 29, 2025, but his enduring spirit and the indelible memories he created will forever remain in our hearts.

Bill was a beacon of light and love in the lives of many. A graduate of Frankford High School, who furthered his education at Temple University, he dedicated his life to teaching, enriching the minds of countless students in Camden, NJ. Known for his loving heart and generous spirit, William nurtured his passion for music and was an active member of the Lawndale Baptist Church choir. His talent for melody was only surpassed by his innate ability to spread joy and kindness. An ardent animal lover, William spent his spare moments caring for neighborhood cats, epitomizing his benevolent nature. An avid fan of the city's historic SEPTA Trolley, he often found solace in its rhythmic journey through the heart of Philadelphia. His commitment to community was evident in his role as a Big Brother Mentor, where he made a significant impact on many young lives.

What mattered most to William was his faith, his family, and his beloved Lawndale Baptist Church. He was the loving brother of, Edith Rodebaugh (William). Uncle to William Rodebaugh (Lisa), and their family, the late Susan Hadden and her family. Bill will also be sadly missed by his cousins Bob Koch and Henry Koch (Susan). He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and William Law Sr.

Relatives and friends may greet his family on Saturday, January 3, 2026 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Lambie Funeral Home located at 8000 Rowland Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 am. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 333 West County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, at 12:15pm.
