William "Bill" Grant Lawson, 59, of Dixon, IL, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, IL, surrounded by his family. He worked as a Pressman for Dixon Direct for several years.
Bill was born on August 22, 1965, in Dixon, the son of Charles and Joni (Sheridan) Lawson. He graduated from Dixon High School. Bill was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time at the Cordova Drag Strip each year. Above all, he loved his family, his mom's Chihuahuas, and watching his grandkids grow up...and maybe even encouraging their antics from time to time.
Bill is survived by his mother, Joni Lawson; three children, Grant (Tiffany) Lawson, Zachary Lawson, Danielle Lawson; three grandchildren, Riley, Ella Grace, Jason; brother, Stephen (Christine) Lawson; and one nephew, Tyler Lawson.
Bill was preceded in death by his father and one granddaughter, RobbiLee.
There will be no services. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice & Home in Oregon, IL.
Arrangements were completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon.
