William Edward "Bill" Lewis

William Edward "Bill" Lewis, 80, of Lancaster, lost his battle to cancer on January 25, 2026. Born February 12th, 1945, in Chester County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dolores (Williams) Lewis. He was also the beloved husband of 42 years to his late wife Doretta R. (Nunn) Lewis.

Bill worked incredibly hard to get his GED and spent much of his life as a forklift operator at the Water Street Mission. Outside of work, he loved the Lord and enjoyed fishing when he was able.

Bill is survived by his seven children, Edward Nunn, William (Jessica) Nunn, Doritta Nunn, Dennis Nunn, Joel Lewis, Louise Lewis and Percy Lewis; and over a dozen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his four brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 3PM on Thursday, February 12 at West End Mennonite Fellowship, 20 N Charlotte St, Lancaster, PA 17603. Friends and family are welcome to attend fellowship following the service.
