William Lindsay Obituary
Bill attended and graduated from Mt. Diablo High School. He then dedicated over 40 years of honorable service to Shell Oil Company at the Martinez Refinery. In 1956, Bill married his beloved wife, Margaret (Peggy) Lindsay, the love of his life and his forever partner. Together, they shared 69 extraordinary years of marriage, raising a family, collecting memories, and embracing a life filled with adventure, laughter, camping trips, and family cruises. Bill loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, cooking, bird watching, steam trains, traveling, and LA Dodgers baseball.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Lindsay, and his brother, David Lindsay.
He is survived by his children; Stephen (Sandy) Lindsay, Marie (John) Orr, Paty Lindsay, and Janet Lindsay; and his grandchildren, Kristina Lindsay and Shanon Lindsay.
A Visitation will be held at Ouimet Bros Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA on Wednesday, December 3rd, at 1pm.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30pm at the chapel.
In honoring his wishes, the family asks for no flowers.
