William "Bill" Michael Little of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, at the age of 62, after an eight-year battle with lung cancer. He was born on Wednesday, March 20, 1963 in Richmond, Virginia to Vera Beatrice (Jansa) and William Evan Little.
He was originally of Illinois and made the move to Texas. He graduated, earning his GED in 1951. In 1989, he came to Oklahoma and has been a resident since. He was a true Oklahoma soul, his voice and laugh was loud and booming with warmth and character that filled every gathering.
Bill's passions were as bold as his spirit. The roar of his cherished Mustang, and the sizzle of the grill where he worked his magic. He enjoyed smoking ribs and brisket for his family and friends. His love for music filled the air. Boating on the lake or riding his Harley was his sanctuary. He loved the Chicago Bears and spending time with his daughters.
In a twist of fate, Bill discovered his brother through Ancestry DNA test, which sparked a joyous seven-year journey of catching up and building a bond that enriched his life. Their connection created cherished moments that will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Bill faced his illness with remarkable courage, never letting it dim his zest for life, or his devotion to his family. He poured his heart into raising his children, leaving a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vera Beatrice (Jansa) and William Evan Little; and sister Janet Elizabeth Little.
Survivors include his partner Melinda White of Durant, Oklahoma; daughters Felcia "Flee" Little and husband Derrick of Durant, Oklahoma, Courtney "Court" Danielle Little of Kingston, Oklahoma, Brihanna "Bri" Little of Kingston, Oklahoma; grandchildren Brooklynn Little of Durant, Oklahoma, Braeden Hopson and Carly Espinoza of Durant, Oklahoma, Madison Sellers, Jordan Jones, Jackson Jones, Mason Sellers, Bailee Jamison; great grandchildren Nina Sears, Holland Gudgel, Piper White; great-great grandchild Sophia Espinoza; sisters Jennifer Wells Green, Gina Wells Davis; brother Rick Taylor and wife Monica of Vancleave, Mississippi; long-time friend Beverly Ballew-Little as well as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at at 11am on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Gordon Center, 305 N. 2nd Ave. Durant, OK 74701.
