Obituary published on Legacy.com by West's Mortuary on Nov. 23, 2025.
The Funeral Service for Mr. William Antonio Lusane, age 33, formerly of Americus, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of West's Mortuary, 731 N. Lee Street, Americus, Georgia 31719.

William Antonio Lusane was born on December 13, 1991, in Americus, Georgia to April D. James and William H. Lusane. He peacefully entered eternal rest on November 22, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, April D. Mayes - James.

William was born and reared in Sumter County, Georgia. He attended Sumter High School and graduated from Morning Star Class of 2009. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who left us far too soon. William brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who had the blessing of knowing him. His spirit was kind, his smile unforgettable, and his heart endlessly generous.

William is cherished and remembered by his father, William Howard Lusane; stepmother, Janice Lusane; stepfather, Christopher James; brother, William Dowdell; two sisters: Danielle Foster and Raquel Mayes-Mitchell; and brother-in-law, Ahmad Mitchell Sr.

William was the proud uncle of Kanijah Foster, Jyquariuss Foster, Ajarion Foster, ZyKerria Dowdell, Ahmad Mitchell Jr., Markell Mitchell, Ah'Mir Mitchell, and Myles Mitchell. He is also remembered by a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends who cherish his memories.
