William A. "Bill" Lyon

William "Bill" A. Lyon, 61, of Clarendon, PA passed away on Monday February 16, 2026, in North Carolina at his winter home.
Bill was born on October 25, 1964, in Warren, PA to William B. Lyon and the late, Rose Ann DeFabio Lyon- Olson. He married Angela Jones-Lyon in October of 2019. Bill was a graduate of Warren Area High School in 1982. Following graduation, he worked as a contractor for the United States Postal Service for 42 years, transporting mail throughout Warren County and delivering for the town of Sheffield, PA, until he retired in 2024. Bill thoroughly enjoyed camping with his wife and kids. He was a long time patron of Whispering Winds Campground. Following his retirement, he spent the winters camping in his RV down south with his wife and dog "Pepper".

Bill is survived by his father, of Warren, PA, his wife, his two daughters, Megan Lyon, of Clarendon, PA, and Lexi Wees (Jacob) of Carbondale, PA. His step children, Sam Sinclair (Kaila) of Sheffield, PA and their son, Aston, Rachel Sinclair of England, Kesha Stevenson (Will) and children of Warren, PA, Christopher Lyon (Katie) and children of Carthage, NY. His siblings, Melody Zaffino (Mark) of Russell, PA, and Scott Lyon (Amy) of Suamico, WI; Niece Morgan Zaffino and nephew Brayden Lyon.

In addition to his mother, Bill was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marian and Anthony DeFabio Sr, paternal grandparents, William A. Lyon and Catherine Lyon-Bloss, and step-mother, Nancy Lyon.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday February 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home Inc., 304 East Street Warren PA, 16365. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr Dale Haight, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph RC Cemetery, Warren, PA.
