William “Bill” J. Madere, 63, a resident of Hahnville, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
In loving memory of Bill, it’s heartwarming to reflect on the life of this extraordinary man who bloomed in his love for the great outdoors. His boundless affection for Donna, coupled with his unwavering passion for gardening and fishing, painted a picture of a man deeply in tune with nature and his loved ones. Family gatherings lit up his soul, especially when he dazzled everyone with his culinary prowess. Beyond his rugged exterior, Bill's heart overflowed with kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand to others. His passionate drumming, infectious smile, and rhythmic dance moves exuded a joy that was truly one of a kind. Bill's legacy of selflessness and love is a beacon that will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace, dear Bill, your memory will forever be a blessing to us all.
Bill is survived by his wife of 10 years, Donna A. Madere; children, Michael S. Madere; Kira Ram (Adam), Cherie Sauve (Nick), Charlie Phillips; 3 grandchildren; brother, Antoine “Pete” S. Madere, Jr. (Carol) and sisters, Mary “Betsy” Nebel (Raymond), Judith A. Matherne (Craig).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Antoine S. Madere and Florence Caillet Madere and son, Kyle Madere.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 9:00 am until service time. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, in Taft.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church to honor the memory of Bill.
