William was born on November 26, 1968, in Brownsville, TN to Randall Edgar Mann, Jr. and Carolyn Watridge Mann. He worked as a geologist for the State of Tennessee. He was a graduate of Haywood High School and the University of Tennessee at Martin. He had many loves: his animals, sports, music, farming and muscle cars. All paled in comparison to his love for his family, especially his love for his daughter, Peyton, and his sons, Johnathan and Joseph. He was highly opinionated and plain spoken, but at the same time, he had a knack for making people laugh. If he loved you, you knew it. He loved the Lord and graciously gave his life to his savior, Jesus.
William is survived by his daughter, Peyton Mann of Lexington, KY; two sons, Johnathan Tosh and Joseph Tosh, of Brownsville, TN; his mother, Carolyn Watridge Mann of Jackson, TN; his brother, Randall Edgar Mann, III, of Jackson, TN; his sister, Jenny Mann Morgan of Jackson, TN; two nephews, Bryce Mann of Nashville, TN, and Nathan Mann of Nashville, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Randall Edgar Mann, Jr.; one brother, John Egbert Mann; one sister, Sarah Elizabeth Olene Mann.
Pallbearers for the service will be Ethan Williams, Mitch Prince, Scott Hooser, Christian Hooser, Cole Lessenberry, and Logan Lessenberry.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Humane Society, c/o Alice Nunn, P.O. Box 565, Brownsville, TN 38012. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
