William May Obituary
Bill was born in 1931 to Chalmers and Jeanette May in Tiltonsville, Ohio. After graduating from Bridgeport High School, he served in the U.S. Navy SeaBees 4 years.
As a long time resident of Monroe County, Ohio, he retired from Consolidated Aluminum Co. in Hannibal, Ohio and owned the H&R Block in Woodsfield and Barnesville, Ohio for almost 40 years.
Bill enjoyed making hand-tooled leather items and wood carvings. He loved riding his motorcycle.
Bill is survived by his wife of 74 yrs, Cleda (Peterson) May; his children, Ronald (Gail) May, Cheryl (Joseph) Bihari, and Linda (Craig) Henry. Also 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, one sister and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a son, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A private service was held at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville, Ohio. The internment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant.
