William McCue Obituary
William J. McCue, a heartwarmingly kind and thoughtful man, passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on August 4, 1953, William was the cherished son of the late John H. and Kathryn McCue. His life was a testament to the love and strong bonds of family, which he valued above all else.
William, who was often referred to by his loved ones as Bill, grew up in a close-knit family and was a proud graduate of Milton High School. He was the beloved brother of John E. McCue and his wife Susan of Ft. Myers, Florida, and the late Ann McCue Forry, whose husband Paul Forry still resides in Boston. His life was further enriched by the joy and laughter of his nieces and nephews: Ryan, Erin, and Padric Forry, as well as Shaun, Michael, Kevin, and Ryan McCue. The legacy of his loving spirit will continue to be cherished by his grandnieces, grandnephews, and numerous cousins.
Throughout his life, William was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He was a respected member of Carpenters Local 33 in Boston, where he not only honed his skills but also formed lasting friendships and contributed significantly to the community. His colleagues in the Carpenters Union will remember him not just for his craftsmanship but also for his camaraderie and unwavering support.
William's interests were simple yet profound. He loved spending time with family and friends, and his presence was a source of comfort and joy at every gathering. His ability to listen and offer thoughtful advice made him a confidant to many. He was the embodiment of love in action, always placing others' needs before his own.
Those who were fortunate enough to know William can attest to the warmth of his smile and the generosity of his spirit. He was a man who was never too busy to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. His thoughtfulness extended beyond his immediate circle, touching the lives of all he encountered.
William's departure has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who loved him. His memory will be honored not just in words but in the countless acts of kindness he inspired. He was a true gentleman, ever gentle, ever kind, and his legacy of love will continue to resonate through the generations.
As the sun sets on the life of William J. McCue, we celebrate the light he brought into our world. We bid farewell to a man who was not only a cherished family member and a loyal friend but also a beacon of love and kindness. His story does not end here, for it lives on in the memories we hold dear and in the lives he touched with his gentle soul.
In honoring William's memory, we reflect on a life well-lived, a journey marked by compassion, and a man who was a blessing to all who knew him. He will be profoundly missed but remembered with smiles that reflect the joy he shared so freely. William J. McCue's legacy is one of love, and it is this love that will continue to light our way.
Burial will be held at a later date.
