Geneo was a man of many pursuits and took pride in a career that spanned numerous roles, most recently serving as a truck driver for Lee Trucking. A true outdoorsman at heart, he cherished every opportunity to go fishing and found peace on the water.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Cathy McGlaughn; his son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Sandra McGlaughn; his stepdaughter and son-in-law, Brandi and Brandon Watts; and his cherished granddaughters, Jessica McGlaughn and Kaitlin Cromer, along with her husband, Cody. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren, Wesley, Waylon, and Brody Cromer; his brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Ilene McGlaughn; his brother-in-law, Randy Waters; and his aunt, Faye Pruitt. Geneo will be lovingly remembered by his nephews, Blake and Eric McGlaughn; his cousins, Tim Nix and Terry Pruitt and his wife, Jeannie; as well as his loyal companion, his beloved dog, Coco. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In keeping with his wishes, Geneo will be cremated and laid to rest at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church, with Pastor Anthony Puckett officiating.
