Dallas Ryan Mcglaughn, a beloved son, brother, and father, passed away
on November 10, 2023, at Floyd Medical Hospital in Rome, Georgia following a tragic accident. Born on August 12, 2001, in Gadsden, Alabama, to Kerry Mcglaughn and Brandy Dalton, Dallas was known for his heart of gold, compassion, and humility.
Dallas graduated from Hokes Bluff high school in 2020, where he
excelled in reading and writing. He was a free spirit, always
laughing, and incredibly intelligent. After school, Dallas dedicated
his career to making the best pizzas at Little Caesars, a testament to
his love for the dish.
Dallas was a beloved father to his son, Ryan Mcglaughn, whom he cherished greatly. He was an avid fan of Star Wars, anime, and science fiction, and enjoyed hobbies such as weaponry, video games, and creative writing. By his family, He was known for regularly stopping by his grandmothers and raiding her fridge for a dr pepper, and being the kind of person to always help another in need. By his friends, he was known for his love for others, and his enormous heart.
Dallas taught others to love their family and hold them tight, a
lesson that will be carried forward by those who knew him. His passing
leaves a void that can never be filled. He is survived by his pride and joy, his son Ryan; his parents, Kerry and Brandy; his brother Alexander Mcglaughn; His grandparents Margie Garmon and Charlie Mcglaughn, George and Kathy Dalton and Fonda Whaley; his Aunt Wendy and Jon Vaughn and his Uncle Greg Mcglaughn; as well as a host of cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Dallas's memory
by spending time with your loved ones, sharing a laugh, and holding
them tight. Dallas's life was a testament to the power of love,
laughter, and the strength of family. He will be deeply missed.
