It´s hard to find the words to do Billy justice but I hope the services showed some of our appreciation for a great man. .

Beyond being a father, a decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a great soccer player, and an accomplished entrepreneur, Billy was the life of the party, the friend who never sent your call to voicemail, and the guy who would always ask how he could help you - no matter what was going on in his own life.

Billy earned a Bronze Star Medal for his heroic service in a combat zone during deployment. Ernest Hemingway was also a Bronze Star recipient; for this reason, I selected a quote by EH for Billy to read when Scott and I got married. It was fitting then, and I believe fitting now for other reasons:

"I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, all that you´re yet to be."

Those who leave us are still capable of inspiring others and I look forward to doing what I can to expand Billy´s legacy alongside our Louisville Collegiate School family.

Billy was a fantastic man and great friend. From our sushi or wing nights, to the greatest college adventures, he did everything with joy and enthusiasm. He is missed.
