William (Will) Edward Morgan entered the world on September 6, 2007 in Carrollton, Georgia. Born to Jenni and Jeff Morgan, he became the youngest child of 8 siblings. Infant Will was a welcomed blessing from God that served to inspire hope for a struggling, blended family. It soon became evident that Will was a very talented toddler and displayed a love for music. He would often regale his family with Veggie Tales sing-a-longs like “Oh, Where is My Hairbrush” or “Rock Monster”. Will continued to pursue his musical interest throughout his life in one form or another. He could play just about any instrument he touched, French horn, Mellophone, bassoon, clarinet, piano, guitar, banjo, and ukulele just to name a few. Will’s family moved to Athens in 2012 when his Mom and Dad decided to return to school at the University of Georgia. The family resided in graduate housing on campus where Will started developing life-long friendships and an appreciation for other cultures from around the world. Will could often be found on the playground playing soccer or Legos, and discussing dinosaurs. He would sometimes attend class with his Mom or Dad and was well-loved by the professors in the Family and Consumer Sciences department of UGA. In 2019, Will and family moved to the beautiful countryside of Oconee County where he attended Oconee Middle School and Oconee County High School. Will continued to develop his musical talent by singing in chorus and playing in the school bands, and participated in many honor band events and UGA MidFest. In 2021, he was chosen as a member of the Georgia All-State Band, on French horn. As he matured, so did his interests. Will developed a love of animals, anything related to engineering or mechanics, watches, gemstones, and history. He put these interests to good use while helping with his family’s estate sale business, where he was loved by customers and those he worked with and was revered as thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable. Will filled his life with the things that he loved, mostly centered around family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, working on cars, playing card games, collecting watches, coins, musical instruments, and vintage video games. He also wrote music and frustratedly attempted to play golf. William’s favorite class “Individual and the Law” recently sparked his interest in pursuing a law degree and he was planning to attend law school at UGA or Mercer.

On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, William Edward Morgan left this world and entered the kingdom of his Heavenly Father. We all lost a son, a friend, and a helper, but heaven gained an awesome angel.

William Edward Morgan is survived by his parents Jeff and Jenni Morgan, his maternal grandparents Bill and Bev Fitzgerald, and siblings Daniel Morgan, Dustin Morgan, Abigail Bullard, Andrew Morgan, Gregory Gerard, Angelica Skinner, and Melody Morgan. He also leaves his Aunts Stephanie Fitzgerald and Marisa Hutto, Nieces Ava Morgan, Salem Bullard, and Collins Skinner, and Nephews Carter Morgan, Blaise Bullard, and Grant Skinner, and his two faithful dogs Comfy and Adele. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles and Eleanor Morgan.
