William Dennis Mulkins III

Funeral services for William Dennis Mulkins III, 71, of Killeen, will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday November 6, 2024, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with full military honors.
Mr. Mulkins died Thursday, October 17, 2024, at his home.
Mr. Mulkins was born, August 22, 1953, in Okolona, Mississippi, the son of William Dennis Mulkins Jr and Jeanne Taylor Mulkins. He grew up in New Jersey, Nashville, Tennessee and later graduated from Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. He joined the 82nd Airborne and later transitioned to be an Apache Helicopter Pilot in the United States Army. He was stationed in many places including Fulda and Illesheim, Germany, and served missions in Iraq.
He married Christiane M. Kennin July 4, 1990 in Briggs, Texas at the Gliderport.. He was a member of the American Legion Florence 354. He was a member of the Military Officers Association of America, the Quiet Birdmen and the Antique Pilot's Association of Salado.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Christiane M. Kennin; son William Dennis Mulkins IV and wife Elizabeth; one brother Arthur Taylor Mulkins and one sister, Clairann Vaughan and husband Stephen; two grandchildren, Dominic Michael Mulkins and William Dennis Mulkins V.
The family would like to thank his wonderful Doctors, Dr. Dan Zhao of MD Anderson and Dr. Santhanam at Scott and White Cancer Center in Killeen.
