Sammie Alice Whigham Shreeve passed away on November 6th, 2025, at Our Hospice House, Belton, Texas. She was 71 years of age.
Celebration of Life will be at her childhood home from noon till 6pm on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at 735 CR 333, Gatesville, Texas 76528.
Sammie was born on August 3rd, 1954, in Gatesville, Texas to Wilson Claude Whigham and Laura Pearl Hoosier Whigham.
Sammie loved working in her garden and playing with her Dogs. Loved Traveling to the beach and the mountains both
Sammie is survived by her husband Steve Shreeve of Temple, Texas. They were married for 40 years
Sammie is survived by many Nieces and Nephews, also her Adopted Family Vi and Roger Newman. Christa Mason, husband Kris Rogers and their son Asher Mason-Rogers, Courtney and Ryan Spiller, Cheyanne Winter and husband Joseph Gonzalez, James Newman and Jaxon Newman.
Sammie is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Claude Whigham and Laura Pearl Hoosier Whigham. A brother Truman Maxwell and 2 sisters Nelta Maxwell and Connie Morse.
We would like to thank doctors and staff at Saint David's South Austin Medical Center Oncology Department for 3 years of outstanding care. Also, Our Hospice House for their Care.
In Lieu of flowers family requests that you please make a donation in Sammies name of cash, food, towels or blankets to your local Humane Society.
