Gloria K. Ellis, lovingly known as Kathy, was born on February 29, 1960, in Orlando, Florida. Kathy was a vibrant free spirit who embraced life with open arms, fully dedicated to her family and living each moment to the fullest. She was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
On November 9, 2025, Kathy passed away peacefully in Belton, Texas, surrounded by her beloved sons, who adored her deeply. Her heart was as big as her spirit, and her family brought her immense joy and pride throughout her life. Kathy often expressed that her greatest accomplishments were her boys—Eric, Ethan, and Evan—who she cherished beyond measure. She was a source of unwavering support and nurtured their dreams with the same fervor she approached her own life.
In addition to her wonderful sons, Kathy leaves behind her daughters, Kristin Dumas, Shannon Williams, and Emily, who carry her strength and warmth with them. Kathy was also deeply connected to her sister, Stephanie Blackmon who loved her dearly.
Kathy's life was full of laughter, love, and an unyielding spirit. She enjoyed every moment spent with family, and her legacy will carry on through the stories and experiences cherished by those she leaves behind. Each memory is a reflection of her joy, kindness, and free-spirited nature.
As we remember Kathy, let us celebrate the remarkable woman she was, her profound love for those around her, and the indelible mark she has left on our lives. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever dance in the hearts of those who loved her.
