De’leishya Desiree Richardson was born on March 15, 1994, at Kings Daughters Hospital in Temple, Texas, to her loving mother, Terance Richardson.

De’leishya was a vibrant and loving 31-year-old mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She graduated from Belton High School in 2012 and was active in numerous extracurricular activities including softball, color guard, and band.

Known for her creativity, intelligence, and compassion, De’leishya was someone you could always count on. A free spirit at heart, she loved exploring, new adventures and creating lasting memories with those she loved, always lending a listening ear. De’leishya’s presence made life brighter.

De’leishya fought courageously while receiving care at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in early September. She was later transferred to Continued Care Hospital. Following a setback, she was transferred back to Baylor Scott & White. Despite all her medical struggles, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, her daughter, and close friends.

De’leishya will forever be remembered for her beautiful soul, her unwavering love for her family and friends, and the joy she brought into every space she entered. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind, especially in her beloved daughter, Nylah.

De’leishya’s legacy of love, laughter, and light will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

De’leishya is survived by her parents, (mother) Terance Richardson of Belton, Texas, and David Richardson; her beautiful daughter, Nylah Roane, also of Belton, Texas; her brother, De’Andre Richardson, of Belton, Texas; her sisters, Marissa De La Rosa, of Belton, Texas; Danielle Richardson of North Carolina; and Erica Wiley of South Carolina. She is also survived by her Aunt Alice Woodberry (Kenneth) of Temple, Texas; her Aunt Ernestine Franklin of Temple, Texas; her uncle Christopher Franklin (Victoria) of Moody, Texas; and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Annie Franklin of Belton, Texas, and her uncle, Michael Franklin, also of Belton, Texas.

Pallbearers: De’Andre Richardson, JeTamie Woodberry, Kenneth Woodberry, Hope De La Rosa, Patience De La Rosa, and Jonathan Taylor.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on November 14, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place on November 15, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home, at 10 am, followed by burial at North Belton Cemetery.

The Richardson family would like to invite everyone to join in a celebration of life, with the location to be announced later.

The Richardson family also wishes to thank Baylor Scott & White for the outstanding care De’leishya received during her time there.
