De’leishya Desiree Richardson was born on March 15, 1994, at Kings Daughters Hospital in Temple, Texas, to her loving mother, Terance Richardson.
De’leishya was a vibrant and loving 31-year-old mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend. She graduated from Belton High School in 2012 and was active in numerous extracurricular activities including softball, color guard, and band.
Known for her creativity, intelligence, and compassion, De’leishya was someone you could always count on. A free spirit at heart, she loved exploring, new adventures and creating lasting memories with those she loved, always lending a listening ear. De’leishya’s presence made life brighter.
De’leishya fought courageously while receiving care at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in early September. She was later transferred to Continued Care Hospital. Following a setback, she was transferred back to Baylor Scott & White. Despite all her medical struggles, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, her daughter, and close friends.
De’leishya will forever be remembered for her beautiful soul, her unwavering love for her family and friends, and the joy she brought into every space she entered. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she leaves behind, especially in her beloved daughter, Nylah.
De’leishya’s legacy of love, laughter, and light will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
