William "Will" Mullis, age 47, gained his wings and was reunited with his son, Charlie "Shorty" on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Will was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed working on vehicles, was an avid fishermen, and spent a lot of time outdoors. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, children, and precious grandchildren. He was a member of Lodge #438 F&A.M, Haz-Mat, and the Persia Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charlie Mullis; papaw Grogan; papaw Finley; father-in-law, Alvin Kirkpatrick.
He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Kim Mullis; parents, Debbie and James Finley; step-sister, Leah Sturgill and husband, Nathan; mamaw, Genevieve Grogan; aunt and uncle, Ben and Susan Ham; children, Jesse and wife, Katie Helton, Billie Jean and husband, Travis Young; grandchildren, Braden, Sawyer, Hadley, Caroline, Natalie, Landon, and Emma Kreed; mother-in-law, Jean Kirkpatrick; host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Christian-Sells Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral Ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Jamie Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com
