William Allen 'Woody' Naugle, age 65 of Salem, Indiana passed away Monday, December 9, 2024, at 6:00 am, in Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.
Born November 5, 1959, in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ronnie Naugle and Mary Louise (Proffitt) Naugle.
He had been a life resident of Washington County and was a graduated of Eastern High School.
He retired from Laborers Local Union 741 out of Bloomington, Indiana and he loved gardening flowers and vegetables, being outdoors and listening to music in his spare time.
On June 10, 1978, he married Amy (Blankenbaker) Naugle.
Survivors include:
Wife: Amy (Blankenbaker) Naugle
Son: Chad Naugle of Salem, Indiana.
Daughter: Brooke Naugle of Salem, Indiana.
Daughter: Chasity Gilstrap of Scottsburg, Indiana.
Sister: Ronda Willis of Scottsburg, Indiana.
Niece: Robin Dixon.
Grandchildren:
Ashtan Cole,
Mason Gilstrap,
Noah Naugle,
Sindey Philips,
Elin Philips,
Madison Green
and 1 great granddaughter Kenzie Dean.
He was preceded in death by his parents: 1 son Skyler and 2 nephews, Travis and Ryan Dixon.
Visitation: 11 am to 2 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Billy Owens officiating.
