Robert Pennington Obituary

Born January 2, 1953 in Scottsburg, Indiana, he was the son of the late McKinley Pennington and Lorene M. (Box) Pennington.
He was an Eastern High School graduate, Class of 1971. He loved to mow yards for himself and the whole neighborhood. He was an avid piddler and could always be found tinkering with something in the shed and he retired from Child Craft Industries in Salem after 24 years.
On August 24, 1974, he married Vickie L. (Crandall) Pennington, who passed away August 30, 1996. They had 2 daughters that survive him. Tiffany A. (Greg) Dietz of Sellersburg, Indiana and Nichole L. (Adam) Farley of Pekin, Indiana.
He is also survived by 2 Brothers: Rickie D. Pennington of Salem and Jerry L. Pennington of Pekin; his companion of 22 years Nancy Poe and 4 grandchildren: Brooklynn and Landon Dietz, Hayden and Abigail Farley, and his beloved old red.
He was preceded in death by 1 Brother, Barry Joe Pennington.
Visitation: Thursday, April 10th from 4-8 pm and Friday April 11th, 9-11 am Funeral Service: Friday, April 11th at 11:00 am at Dawalt Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Darrell James officiating.
