We are heartbroken to announce the passing of William J. Neibuhr Jr., aged 69, who left us on October 24, 2025. Born on August 24, 1956 in Baltimore, Bill grew up on Steelton Avenue. He worked at Eddie’s Supermarket where he met his soulmate, Lee Ann. He graduated from Patterson High School and they married a week later on June 21, 1975. They welcomed daughter, Angel, in 1979 and were later over the moon to welcome their granddaughter, Autumn, in 2010. Bill and Lee Ann shared 38 wonderful years together. Bill had the voice of an angel and studied at the Peabody Institute. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and taking part in shows. Bill had a lifelong career working with trains and fulfilled his dream of becoming an Amtrak engineer. Bill’s faith was very strong and in 1975 he was baptized at Sacred Heart of Mary Church in Dundalk, MD. He was a proud member of Knights of Columbus St. Vincent Pallotti Council and St. Joseph Assembly, serving as a fourth degree Knight. Halloween was Bill's favorite holiday, he loved giving frights to the Berkshire neighborhood for over two decades. Bill will be remembered fondly for the laughter, love and the bear hugs he brought to all!
Bill was a devoted husband of the late Lee Ann Neibuhr (nee Paige). Loving father to his daughter, Angel Lee Keil. Grandfather to his granddaughter, Autumn Lee Keil. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents William and Betty Neibuhr, as well as his siblings: Bob Neibuhr and sisters Betty Cropsey and Patty Nye. He is also remembered fondly by his sisters-in-law, Vicki Hill (husband Stuart), Tammy Paige, and Tina Plank (late husband Andy). Additionally survived by nieces and nephews, loving family and friends.
