William Nekrasovas, age 81 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. He was born on July 20, 1944, in Germany, and his life was marked by both professional accomplishments and cherished personal connections.
Throughout his career, William proudly worked as a Union Carpenter for Local #31, where his craftsmanship and commitment to quality were well respected in the community. His skills and work ethic not only contributed to his trade but also served as an inspiration to those around him.
William was a vibrant member of the Flemington Moose Lodge, where he enjoyed engaging with fellow members and partaking in community activities. An avid television watcher, he found joy in immersing himself in his favorite shows, often sharing laughs and stories about them with family and friends. A lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, William's enthusiasm for football was evident, especially during game days when he would gather with loved ones to cheer on his team.
Travel was a significant part of William's life, particularly his adventures with his late wife, Joan. They shared a passion for visiting beautiful destinations, including frequent trips to Key West, Florida, and Chincoteague, where they created countless cherished memories together.
William is survived by his son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Jane Nekrasovas of Flemington, NJ and his daughter Felicia Nekrasovas of Flemington, NJ, who will carry forward his legacy of love and dedication to family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Nekrasovas, and his brothers, John and Viktor Nekrasovas, who he deeply missed.
William Nekrasovas will be remembered for his unwavering strength, deep affection for his family, and the joy he brought to all who knew him. His kind spirit and legacy will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and the memories they shared.
Private cremation services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in William's name can be made to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
