I had the first opportunity to meet Bill when I joined the SPE ExCom in 2007.He was a man of few words but set goals for the Society and executed them effectively taking all members and Council on board.I had the privilege of staying at Louise and his home in June 2008 and then driving with him to ExCom meeting in Oganquit ,Maine. He was a good friend and mentor to me during my time at SPE HQ. May he rest in peace and continue to share his vast knowledge and experience with the Heavenly Society.

On behalf of the Society of Plastics Engineers , we are saddened to hear of Bill's passing. Bill was a longtime member of the Society, and a respected part of the organization's senior leadership. His dedicated service to the Society, and to the plastics industry, is but one part of his legacy.
To Bill's wife Louise, his family, many friends and colleagues, please accept our sincere condolences. We will remember and celebrate Bill at our upcoming ANTEC conference next month.
