William J. Ogonowski, Jr. of Terryville, passed away November 19, 2025. He was the son of the late William J. Sr. and Florence (Racki) Ogonowski.

He was a graduate of Trinity College and Southern Illinois University.

Prior to his retirement, Bill was employed by the Red Cross and served as the VP of the AFSCME Council 4 Union. He was a member of the Polish American Political Club, the American Legion, Plymouth Post 20, a Life Member of the Plymouth Historical Society, and active in many car and motorcycle clubs.

He was the curator of "Ogo's Curios", a museum of local history and arcane Americana.

He loved his town and took great pride in being the first recipient of the Terryville Rotary Club's "Service Above Self" award.

Bill leaves behind his sister Nancy Micloskey and her husband David of Avon.

So sorry for your loss Nancy, Bill was really a one of a kind. Great guy to work with, he was very knowledgeable about cars and motorcycles. I wish he had more years of retirement to enjoy.
