Christine's love of people and enthusiasm for adventure took her all over the world, exploring many countries in Europe and Africa. She never met a stranger, and bonded with lifelong friends wherever her life's journey took her. Of all the places she traveled, Medugorje was her favorite, a place that empowered her to live every day with faith and love, and to embody the compassionate messages of the Virgin Mary. When she wasn't traveling, she was found playing some of her favorite games surrounded by friends. An avid bridge player, Christine was hard to beat due to her sharp intuition and quick mind.
Christine is survived by her daughters, Patricia Serafin (sp. Donald Serafin) and Gean Ann Dettmer, her sons, Michael Dettmer and Joseph Dettmer, 9 grandchildren,16 great grandchildren and her brother, James E. White. Christine will be greatly missed, and forever hold a special place in our hearts.
